From Kimberly’s website:
Each and every citizen in Oklahoma is a consumer that I am here to protect and for whom I will advocate. As your next Insurance Commissioner, I will fight to ensure that policies that affect your life will be fair and accessible to you.
The duty of the Oklahoma State Insurance Commissioner is to regulate your policy coverage for home, car, business, and health insurance and most of all, to protect your wallet, not those of special interests.
As a small business owner, I know firsthand the challenge of having good healthcare and protecting hard earned dollars. It’s time we have an Insurance Commissioner that stands on the promise to make sure insurance companies follow the rules and get people the affordable coverage they need in every aspect of their lives.
I will inform our legislators about preventing laws crafted by lobbyists to promote their own agendas and fight to simplify the language of basic policies; making sure families, businesses, farmers and ranchers can get and afford coverage.
Insurance is BIG BUSINESS in Oklahoma—which has led to big opportunities to game the system and take advantage of our most vulnerable.
As Oklahoma’s next Insurance Commissioner, I offer a variety of ways for you, the consumers and workers of insurance companies, to report fraud and abuse of insurance companies, agents, brokers or other consumers that abuse the insurance system in any way. Investigating fraud starts with citizens and workers who are protected for reporting such issues. We are even considering a monetary fee when funds are recovered as a reward.
