Reproductive Health Care for Advocacy

Since 2022, Oklahoma women have been negatively impacted by our state’s abortion bans. Our state’s abortion bans have placed women with high-risk pregnancies in critical situations, and when in a medical emergency, women are forced into a “wait and see” situation. The reality is that our legislative officials are not protecting women and girls with quality medical care; rather, they are placing women and medical doctors in positions that prevent them from seeking and providing care.  Pregnancy is medically risky, and women have already fought for the right and freedom to choose when and how they want to build their families, and they deserve the best medical care to accomplish their dreams. EDW is committed to advocacy and educating our members to encourage everyone to get involved.  Women deserve to be safe and healthy no matter what their choice is.
